This work aimed to identify what has been discussed in recent years by researchers about black people and ethnic-racial issues in Natural Sciences Textbooks. Thus, 3 queries were made to the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations using terms related to the theme. For this review, the researches defended between 2013 and 2022 were selected, resulting in 2 theses and 8 dissertations. The results show that some changes have already occurred in the schoolbooks since the promulgation of Law 10639/03, however, they are still incipient. It was noted that carrying out content analysis is a methodological trend among the researches. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that this review can contribute to the identification of possible paths to be followed in future researches and the visibility of the field of studies.
