A new species of Amoria from the northern offshore reef systems of Western Australia is presented. Amoria walkeri is a small ovate species with distinctive colouration and form, which readily distinguishes it from its sister taxa in the genus. The material for this study was collected using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and kindly donated to the authors by Drew Strickland to enable this study to proceed. As more diverse benthic environments are searched using ROVs, and distribution and variability contextualised using biogeography it can be expected that the diversity of many molluscan complexes will be expanded.
