This study analyzes the feasibility of implementing dual education in the Production Management specialization at the Costa Rican Agricultural Institute (IACSA). The practical training needs of students were identified, the pedagogical advantages and challenges of incorporating dual education were determined, faculty perceptions of dual education were examined, and a manual with pedagogical strategies integrating theory and practice was proposed. The mixed-methods research identified the need to strengthen areas such as software proficiency, logistics, production processes, and analysis. Participants expressed interest in dual education programs, and the study concludes that the model is viable and represents an opportunity for innovation at IACSA.
