Review of the genus Metathrinca Meyrick, 1908 (Lepidoptera, Xyloryctidae) from China, including descriptions of ten new species.

Eighteen species of the genus Metathrinca Meyrick, 1908 in China are reviewed. Among them, ten species are described as new: M. breviprocessa Li, sp. nov., M. crassiprocessa Li, sp. nov., M. digitiloba Li, sp. nov., M. fortispina Li, sp. nov., M. graciliphalla Li, sp. nov., M. licina Li, sp. nov., M. lingugnathos Li, sp. nov., M. nigrivenosa Li, sp. nov., M. punctuatella Li, sp. nov., and M. sublunata Li, sp. nov. In addition, the females of M. meihuashana Wang, Zheng & Li, 2000 and M. intacta (Meyrick, 1938) are reported for the first time. Images of adults and illustrations of genitalia are provided, except those of the three species published in 2025. A key to all the known Metathrinca species in China is included.
