Review of the Chinese species of the genus Reptalus Emeljanov, 1971 (Hemiptera, Fulgoromorpha, Cixiidae), with description of a new species.

The Chinese species of the genus Reptalus Emeljanov, 1971 (Hemiptera, Fulgoromorpha, Cixiidae) are reviewed. A new species, R. inaequalis Lv, Li & Chen, sp. nov., from Fujian Province, China, is described and illustrated. This new species belongs to the subgenus Pererepa. The female genitalia of two species within this genus, R. (R.) arcbogdulus (Dlabola, 1965) and R. (P.) quadricinctus (Matsumura, 1914), are described and illustrated herein for the first time. A checklist and an updated identification key to the Chinese species of the genus are provided.
