Acetaminophen Overdose and Self-Induced Ethanol Enema.

Ethanol is most commonly consumed orally, although rare cases of intentional rectal administration have been described. We present the case of a 37-year-old man who presented to the emergency department following intentional rectal administration of ethanol and a concomitant acetaminophen overdose with extensive review of literature. This unusual presentation highlights the diagnostic and management challenges associated with concurrent toxic exposures and emphasizes the importance of early recognition and multidisciplinary care.
