Atypical Presentation of Congenital Sucking Blister of the Lip: A Diagnostic Challenge.

Congenital sucking blisters are neonatal lesions caused by intrauterine sucking activity. We report the case of a term female newborn presenting at birth with an isolated lower-lip lesion, an exceptionally rare location for this condition. The lesion evolved into a vesicle and resolved spontaneously without treatment, supporting the clinical diagnosis of a congenital sucking blister. This case highlights the importance of considering this entity in the differential diagnosis of congenital lip lesions to avoid unnecessary investigations and interventions.
