Tuberculosis (TB) induces a systemic inflammatory response that can increase thrombotic risk, making venous thrombosis an uncommon but significant complication, especially in children. We present the case of an 11-year-old girl undergoing treatment for pleuro-pulmonary TB who developed acute deep vein thrombosis of the lower limb early during therapy. The diagnosis was established through clinical assessment and imaging, and the patient responded well to anticoagulation while continuing her TB treatment. This case underscores the need for clinicians to remain vigilant for thrombotic complications in pediatric TB, as early identification and management are essential to prevent morbidity.
