The Effect of Accusative Predication Restrictors in the Letters of Imam al-Rid (Peace Be Upon Him)

This study examines the effect of accusative predication restrictors, represented by Arabic objects, in the letters of Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him), as they constitute some of the most significant grammatical elements that constrain predication and direct its semantic interpretation. The study aims to identify the grammatical and semantic functions of these objects and to demonstrate their role in shifting sentence structure from generality and openness to specification and restriction in a manner consistent with the speaker’s intention and the context of discourse. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach through the examination of selected examples from the letters of Imam al-Rida (peace be upon him). These examples are analyzed within the framework of Arabic grammatical theory while linking syntactic function to semantic interpretation in order to reveal the relationship between grammatical structure and meaning. The study focuses on four types of objects: the absolute object, the direct object, the adverbial object of time and place, and the object of purpose, as no examples of the comitative object were found in the corpus under investigation. The findings indicate that these objects are not merely optional syntactic complements; rather, they play a fundamental role in constructing and directing meaning. The absolute object emphasizes the action or clarifies its type and frequency, the direct object specifies the target of the action, the adverbial object restricts the event by time or place, and the object of purpose reveals its cause and intended goal. The study also demonstrates a close interrelationship between grammatical function and contextual meaning in the letters of Imam al-Riḍā (peace be upon him), which contributes to the precision, clarity, and effectiveness of his discourse and reinforces the intellectual, jurisprudential, and theological purposes embodied in those letters. ----------------------------------------------------- أثر مقيدات الإسناد المنصوبة في رسائل الإمام الرضا عليه السلام أنوار مهدي محسن 1*، أصيل محمد كاظم1 1كلية التربية، جامعة القادسية، ديوانية، العراق الملخص يتناول هذا البحث أثر مقيدات الإسناد المنصوبة المتمثلة بالمفاعيل في رسائل الإمام الرضا (عليه السلام)، بوصفها من أبرز العناصر النحوية التي تسهم في تقييد الإسناد وتوجيه دلالته. ويهدف إلى الكشف عن الوظائف النحوية والدلالية للمفاعيل، وبيان دورها في الانتقال بالتركيب من الإطلاق والعموم إلى التخصيص والتحديد، بما ينسجم مع مقصد المتكلم وسياق الخطاب .اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، من خلال استقراء نماذج مختارة من رسائل الإمام الرضا (عليه السلام)، وتحليلها في ضوء النظرية النحوية العربية، مع ربط الأثر الإعرابي بالبعد الدلالي للكشف عن العلاقة بين البنية النحوية والمعنى. وقد ركزت الدراسة على أربعة أنواع من المفاعيل هي: المفعول المطلق، والمفعول به، والمفعول فيه، والمفعول لأجله، لعدم ورود شواهد للمفعول معه في النصوص المدروسة.وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن هذه المفاعيل لا تمثل عناصر فضلية يمكن الاستغناء عنها، بل تؤدي دورًا أساسًا في بناء المعنى وتوجيهه؛ إذ يسهم المفعول المطلق في تأكيد الحدث أو بيان نوعه وعدده، ويحدد المفعول به جهة وقوع الفعل، ويقيد المفعول فيه الحدث بزمانه أو مكانه، في حين يكشف المفعول لأجله عن علته وغايته. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود تلاحم وثيق بين الوظيفة النحوية والدلالة السياقية في رسائل الإمام الرضا (عليه السلام)، الأمر الذي أكسب خطابه دقة تعبيرية ووضوحًا دلاليًا، وأسهم في ترسيخ المقاصد الفكرية والفقهية والعقدية التي تضمنتها تلك الرسائل. الكلمات المفتاحية: مقيدات الإسناد، المفاعيل، الدلالة النحوية، رسائل الإمام الرضا، التخصيص الدلالي. -----------------------------------------------------
