This research was mostivatde by students’ low self confidence in performing self performance activities, as indicated by their lack of courage to perform, verbal communication skills, ability to control anxiety during performances, and positive attitudes when dealing with mistakes. This research aims to determine the effect of creating self performances videos on the self confidence of sixth grade students at Elementary School Demangan 2 Bangkalan. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 16 sixth grade students at Elementary School Demangan 2 Bangkalan selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a self confidence observation sheet administered before and after the self performance video creation activity. Data analysis was conducted through prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed an increase in students’ self confidence after participating in the self performance video creation activity. The hypothesis testing results indicated a significant difference in students’ self confidence before and after participating in the self performance video creation activity. Therefore, creating self performance video can have a significant effect on improving the self confidence of sixth grade students at Elementary School Demangan 2 Bangkalan.
