The Susukan Village community in Kuningan Regency faces two closely linked problems: household organic waste that is rarely sorted or processed, and continued reliance on inorganic fertilizer among local farmers. This community service program was designed to build the capacity of farmers and members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) so they can turn kitchen and garden waste into eco-enzyme-based liquid organic fertilizer on their own. Activities combined an initial briefing, hands-on production training, guided use of a simple fermentation setup, and follow-up mentoring, covering roughly thirty participants from the farming community and KWT of Susukan Village. Progress was tracked through pre- and post-activity knowledge tests, direct observation of participants' technical skills, and a satisfaction survey collected both mid-program and after completion. Across every topic tested, participants' scores rose by more than 45 percentage points on average, hands-on competence improved at each stage of the production process, and 86 percent of respondents reported being satisfied or very satisfied with how the program was run. By the end of the program, five local cadres had taken on the role of continuing the practice, supported by a short-written guide the team prepared for future production batches. Taken together, these outcomes point to a workable path for Susukan Village to manage its own organic waste while reducing dependence on chemical fertilizer and moving toward more sustainable farming practices.
