Prairie dogs increase fitness by killing interspecific competitors. Proc Biol Sci. 283:20160144. These data use for Fig 25.1 of Hoogland 2026 This file ready for longterm storage on 10 June 2025 The numbers here show tiny differences than depicted in Fig 25.2 or Main Text of Hoogland 2026, as follows: 6221 Allfight here vs 6225 Allfight in Fig 25.2 457 WGSchase here vs 458 WGSchase in Legend to Fig 25.1 (Page 445). On 31 July 2026, I will not try to find/resolve these tiny differences. Rather, for Hoogland 2026 I used the numbers of 6225 and 458 that Hoogland and Brown reported in 2016. WGS = Wyoming ground squirrel Variable = Allfight = cumulative number of fights and chases between WTPDs and WGSs per time interval WGSchase = the number of aggressive interactions in which the WGS was the aggressor rather than the WTPD. In all other cases, the WTPD was the aggressor All data in this EXCEL file and in Fig 25.1 come from 2007 through 2012, which are the same years when I discovered interspecific killing of WGS by WTPDs All data in this EXCEL file and in Fig 25.1 come from single study-colony at the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge near Walden, Colorado
