ABSTRACT Mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) are a popular vegetable among Indonesians. Consumers range from the lower to the upper classes. Demand for mustard greens continues to grow in line with growing demand and public awareness of the nutritional value of vegetables. This study aims to determine the effect of providing corn waste compost on the growth and yield of green mustard plants and to determine the best dose of corn waste compost on the growth and yield of green mustard plants. The study was conducted from July to December 2024 in the Green house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sam Ratulangi University. The research method used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 treatment levels and 4 replications, namely: P0: Control / without compost. P1 10 tons / ha) corn waste compost, P2 (20 tons / ha) corn waste compost, P3 (30 tons / ha) corn waste compost, P4 (40 tons / ha) corn waste compost. The results of the study showed that the provision of corn waste compost had a very significant effect on the growth and yield of green mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.). The best results of the provision of corn waste compost fertilizer on green mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.) were obtained in the P4 treatment (40 tons/ha), namely a plant height of 10.15 cm, the number of plant leaves was 17 strands, and produced a wet plant weight of 37.75 gr.
