PHOTOGRAPHY AND ARCHITECTURE IN CHARLOTTE PERRIAND (PART 1) : THE CREATION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC WALLS

This paper examines the production of photographs by decorator and architect Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999), with a particular focus on the process of creating photographic walls in interior decoration. In the 1930s, the subjects of the photographs used in Perriand’s photographic walls were children and nature, and the expression of these photographic walls through photomontage techniques carried political significance.
