The development of the Turkish Defence Industry is an important variable not only for the country but also for the international context. The correct positioning of the Turkish Defence Industry in its hard economic conjuncture during the last 15 years opens the doors to a new era of Turkiye. The correct marketing policies have complementary impacts on this success in every part of the world. Today, it is known that the industrial activities of the Turkish Defence Industry are effective and efficient in Africa, East Asia and South America. This paper aims to analyse the financial strength of the industry against other financial assets regarding financial returns for the period from 30.05.2024 to 09.05.2025. According to the main findings, the portfolio, which includes the financial returns of 6 six Turkish defence companies, has higher returns than EURO/TUR, DOL/TUR foreign currencies and another portfolio comprising 6 global defence funds. On the other hand, the returns are lower than the Gold returns. The research examines the main causes of the rise of the high-tech Turkish defence industry, with the financial leadership of ASELSAN. The historical experience and knowledge accumulation gain priority as a cause. The other causes are detailed in the conclusion phase.
