Objective: This scoping review aims to understand the various types of psychoeducational interventions for paediatric oncology patients. Introduction: Psychoeducation is an evidence-based intervention that supports symptom management and recovery by providing information and coping strategies. In paediatric oncology, most psychoeducational interventions have targeted caregivers, with limited evidence focusing on children. This scoping review aims to map the existing literature on psychoeducational interventions for paediatric oncology patients, including their content, delivery modes, and effectiveness. Inclusion criteria: Studies describing psychoeducational interventions for paediatric oncology patients aged 0–18 years in oncology settings will be included, irrespective of the year of publication. However, interventions targeting caregivers of the paediatric or adult patients and adults suffering from cancer (above 18 years), will be excluded. Methods: This review study will be written by following the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology for scoping reviews. A 3-step strategy will be used here to screen the articles. The electronic data bases like Scopus, Embase, Cochrane, Web of Science and PubMed will be searched using the relevant key words found in the titles and abstracts. The references cited in the selected articles will also be screened and the supplemented grey literature from google scholar and Shodh ganga will be included. Studies published in all languages will be included. Two reviewers will independently select studies, extract data with standardised forms, with disagreements resolved by discussion with the third reviewer. Data will be further analysed descriptively and presented in the review through tabular and narrative formats, following the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Ethics and Dissemination Ethics approval will not be required. The findings from the study will be published in peer reviewed journals and presented in conference.
