This study aimed to analyze the relationship between institutional pressures and business intelligence uses. Data were collected from 223 participants in Jordanian manufacturing companies and analyzed using Smart PLS software. The results revealed a positive effect of institutional pressures, including coercive, mimetic, and normative pressures, on business intelligence Use. They also indicated a positive impact of business intelligence use on competitive agility and competitive intelligence. This study makes important contributions to institutional theory and the theory of adoption and use of innovative information technology by linking institutional pressures to the use of business intelligence. It also provides practical insights that serve industrial firms, decision-makers, and policy-makers in several ways.
