Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Anaerocolumna sp. MB42-C2 isolated from a hot spring in Qingliu, Fujian, China. The genome comprises 6,437,239 bp with a G + C content of 36.49 mol% and provides a genomic basis for further species delineation and characterization of genomic features.
