Abstract This chapter emphasizes essential tools that support young autistic adults in establishing routines, effective time management, and fostering independence. It explains how internally motivated routines strengthen consistency and balance between academic, work, and social activities. The chapter highlights the value of organization by promoting tidy personal spaces, the strategic use of digital calendars, and proactive deadline management. It also stresses advanced planning, guiding learners to break large goals into smaller tasks, use mnemonic aids, and ask structured questions that clarify progress and completion. Finally, the chapter underscores the need to prepare challenges and setbacks by practicing problemsolving and coping strategies that build resilience and confidence in navigating adult responsibilities.
