Sustainability has also become one of the key interests of organizations that are active in the modern logistics context, and it came as a strategic initiative to decrease the environmental footprint and improve the efficiency of operations. Predictive Analytics (PA) is a proactive product that enables the achievement of the sustainability goals by the use of Smart Technologies. The current paper explores the importance of adopting Smart Technologies in logistics s and it will look at how predictive analytics plays a mediating role between Smart Technologies implementation and environmental performance. The dependent and independent variables of Smart Technologies usage, predictive analytics, and environmental performance are evaluated based on a sample of 400 medium to large-sized enterprises in Jordan and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that there is a positive correlation between the use of Smart Technologies and the implementation of predictive analytics, which in turn is expressed in the significant changes in the environmental conditions, which are reflected in the decreases in the level of waste, energy usage, and carbon emissions. The article highlights the centrality of predictive analytics in realization of Smart Technologies capabilities in attaining real-life sustainability. The findings can be useful to those organizations that wish to incorporate the use of Smart Technologies and predictive analytics into the green logistices management operations.
