Race, gender, and the affective politics of neoliberal knowledge

In this short commentary, I reflect on the publication of Lars Cornelissen’s Neoliberalism and Race from a critical feminist perspective. My comments focus on the (1) the politics of affect in reading and writing about racism as violence, and (2) the question of gender as an entangled concept and phenomenon to those of race, not least when it comes to the genealogy of neoliberalism and its imbrications in human rights and development.
