This study reports a sensitive and rapid dual-mode (colorimetric/fluorescence) sensing platform for the detection of ascorbic acid (AA), which is based on bimetallic copper–cobalt-doped carbon dot nanozymes (CuCo–CQDs, Cu : Co molar ratio = 1 : 2).
