Highly Stereoselective Synthesis of trans-5-Phosphorylthiazoline-4-amines via [1 + 4] Annulation of α-Phosphoryl Diazoalkanes and Thioacylamidines.

The reaction of α-phosphoryl diazoalkanes and strong nucleophilic thioacylamidines achieved highly stereoselective construction of structurally diverse trans-5-phosphorylthiazoline-4-amines, five-membered nonphosphaheterocycles, in satisfactory to excellent yields. The reaction is a tandem carbene generation and [1 + 4] annulation with thioacylamidines. The reaction features readily available starting materials, high atom-economy, excellent stereoselectivity, and wide substrate scopes.
