In their Comment (December, 2025),1 Adidja Amani and colleagues discuss progress and challenges in achieving high human papillomavirus (HPV) immunisation coverage in a region disproportionally affected by cervical cancer. They outline five priority actionable interventions that can help speed up countries' efforts to meet the WHO 90–70–90 targets by 2030 in Africa.
