原始摘要(英文原文)· Original abstract
• Up-to-date review of the receptance method in structural modification and active vibration suppression. • Main results, theory and applications, from over 100 references condensed and explained. • Different sections dedicated to particular aspects of the method. • Numerical examples to illustrate advantages and restrictions. • Suggestions for further research. The problem of eigenvalue assignment, both generally and in terms of vibration suppression, has a long history, as indeed does the use of measured receptance data in understanding the dynamic behaviour of compound systems made up of a number of component subsystems. It is often the case that there is a need to change the undesirable dynamics of an existing system, perhaps to move a natural frequency sufficiently far away from a frequency of excitation or to change a mode shape to tailor the dynamic response. This may be achieved either by a suitably designed structural modification or by active control. Now the two previously separate disciplines of structural modification and active control for vibration suppression have been brought together in what has become known as the receptance method, developed principally in the first two and a half decades of the twenty-first century. The purpose of this article is to explain in depth the details of the receptance method, covering systematically all its recent developments and applications, supported by example problems to illustrate the most important principles and reveal its advantages and limitations.
