Quantum Dot-Based Fluorescence-Linked Immunosorbent Assays for the Detection of Biomarkers.

原始摘要(英文原文)· Original abstract
A quantum dot-based fluorescence-linked immunosorbent assay (QD-FLISA) is developed from the traditional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). In QD-FLISA, quantum dots (QDs) substitute the enzyme, acting as a fluorescent label. The biosensor is built on QD-biomolecule conjugates as it signals to realize quantification through the changes in the photoluminescence (PL) of the QDs. The QD-FLISA platform exhibits high sensitivity, accuracy, and high-throughput analysis capabilities for the qualitative or quantitative detection of specific protein molecules, small molecule toxins, bacteria, or viruses.
