Recent developments in environmentally and biologically relevant cation recognition using heterocyclic based Chemosensor.

In modern science, metal ions are significant because they are essential in our biological processes and the environment. Chemosensors such as colorimetric and fluorescent material having heterocyclic based analogues such as pyrrole, furan, thiophene, pyridine, quinoline and pyrazole etc. have been designed in such a manner so that it can detect various metal ions with significant advantages like low-cost value, highly sensitive, higher binding constant and should be very convenient to handle. This review delivers an insight into the emerging findings on chemosensors and the number of strategies related to the sensing mechanisms. Chemosensors having heterocyclic analogues provides valuable information and inspire the development of more effective approaches toward chemosensors and their utilities in biological and environmental science.
