Electrical storm after pulsed field ablation of atrial fibrillation in patients with impaired left ventricular function

Pulsed field ablation (PFA) has an excellent safety profile during ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF). However, recent reports describe rare, life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) and coronary vasospasm following PFA.1,2 We report 2 cases of refractory electrical storm (ES) occurring shortly after PFA in patients with severely impaired left ventricular function.
