The French Society for Infectious Diseases conducted a survey following the "Choosing Wisely" standardized process, amongst French infectious diseases specialists, between 2024 and 2025. It aimed to identify the "Top 5" recommendations to reduce unnecessary procedures and treatments in infectious diseases. This work provides a strategic tool to target priority areas for antimicrobial stewardship.
