ABSTRACT A cobalt‐catalyzed aerobic oxidation of (aryl)methanamines for the synthesis of aryl amides has been developed. DMAP was identified as an efficient ligand, and molecular oxygen serves as a sustainable and environmentally benign oxidant. The protocol delivers high yields, excellent chemoselectivity, broad substrate scope, and operational simplicity. The reaction mechanism has been thoroughly investigated, and the demonstrated practicality and efficiency render this method highly promising for widespread applications in organic synthesis.
