Trust is like porcelain-precious, strong in its purpose, but fragile in its nature. When it breaks, we can piece it back together, yet the cracks will always remain. Each line tells a story of rupture and repair, of effort poured into restoration. The question, though, is not simply can it be repaired, but whether we are willing to live with its imperfections and learn from them. Trust sits at the heart of medicine. Between patients and physicians, between learners and their supervisors, between colleagues or peers who depend on each other in the most vulnerable of moments. We know how easily that trust can fracture in any setting.
