Upper bounds of the Laplace spectrum on compact Kähler manifolds

On a connected compact Kähler manifold without boundary, we derive a uniform upper bound for each Laplace eigenvalue over all Kähler metrics in a given Kähler class. This provides an affirmative answer to a question of Yau.
