La disponibilidad léxica como metodología al servicio de distintas disciplinas lingüísticas

This article responds to the one published by Marta Sánchez-Saus Laserna in this same issue, Lexical Availability as a Field of Study: Foundations and Scope, and argues that lexical availability should be understood not so much as an autonomous field, but rather as a flexible methodology for obtaining empirical data useful across different linguistic disciplines. It also maintains that its current diversification does not pose a threat to its identity but rather constitutes evidence of its consolidation and interdisciplinary value.
