This research analyzes the use of artificial intelligence tools as psycho-pedagogical support in the educational process at a public school in Ecuador. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, with a descriptive, cross-sectional design, applied to a sample of 100 students from middle school, high school, and baccalaureate levels. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale and open-ended questions. The results show a high level of AI use among students, as well as a predominantly positive perception of its impact on learning. Its contribution to content comprehension, academic motivation, and the development of autonomous learning is highlighted. However, limitations related to technological access and the need for teacher guidance in its use were identified. The study concludes that artificial intelligence constitutes an innovative tool that strengthens psycho-pedagogical support, provided its implementation is properly guided within the educational context.
