This article analyzes the role of gamification in strengthening regenerative tourism and in the promotion of destinations. Based on a documentary study, it examines how the integration of playful elements combined with digital resources directly influences the design, construction, and operation of meaningful experiences, environmental education, and the active participation of visitors in restoration activities. The results show that gamification, by operating across different dimensions (educational, environmental-social, and communicational), supports the appropriation of ethical values, revalues the territory, and generates emotional bonds that influence travelers’ decision-making. The study highlights the need to advance toward applied research that evaluates the impact of this tool on behavior transformation, ecosystem improvement, local community well-being, and the transition toward responsible models grounded in regenerative tourism.
