Emotional education programs have gained importance in the educational field due to their influence on students' integral development. This essay analyzes the impact of these programs on academic performance and self-regulated learning, highlighting their role in improving skills such as emotional management, motivation, and decision-making. Through the review of recent studies, it is evident that students participating in emotional education programs show higher levels of concentration, better academic performance, and greater autonomy in their learning process. Likewise, it examines how emotional regulation promotes persistence in the face of academic challenges. It is concluded that integrating emotional education into the school curriculum not only strengthens psychological well-being but also enhances academic performance, becoming a key tool for students' comprehensive development.
