A Study on the Innovative Path of Using the Button-Panhua Technique to Empower Cultural and Creative Products of Heilongjiang Ice and Snow Culture

Heilongjiang ice and snow culture possesses distinct regional characteristics and rich visual resources. However, current related cultural and creative products still suffer from superficial use of symbols, homogenized designs, and insufficient involvement of traditional craftsmanship. This paper takes the integration of the button-panhua technique with Heilongjiang ice and snow culture as its research object. Based on the analysis of the shape characteristics and cultural value of the button-panhua technique and the visual characteristics of Heilongjiang ice and snow culture, it explores the foundation for their integration in terms of form, color, materials, and cultural connotations. Through visual symbol extraction, shape reconstruction, technique translation, material innovation, and product stratification development, it proposes innovative paths such as establishing a visual symbol system, improving the design transformation mechanism, expanding cultural tourism scenarios and digital dissemination channels, strengthening multi-entity collaboration, and brand building. The study concludes that the button-panhua technique can enhance the cultural connotation, artistic features, and regional recognition of Heilongjiang ice and snow cultural and creative products, while expanding the modern application space of traditional techniques, providing a reference for the creative transformation of Heilongjiang ice and snow culture and the innovation of regional cultural and creative products.
