With the proliferation of television channels in Pakistan over the past few years, television advertising has increased correspondingly, with food advertisements constituting the majority. Given that 60% of Pakistan's population comprises children and adolescents, advertisers recognize them as a highly potential market and strategically target this demographic by crafting television commercials tailored to their preferences. Due to the relatively weak willpower of children and teenagers, they are involuntarily influenced by these advertisements. This exposure fosters positive attitudes toward advertised products, thereby triggering purchasing behaviors. Such influence extends beyond mere consumer behavior, significantly impacting the physical health and lifestyle choices of children and adolescents.
