Analysis of the Structure, Multiplier and Role of the Agricultural Sector in the Economy West Nusa Tenggara

This study aims to analyze the economic structure, output multiplier value, and inter-sector linkages in the agricultural sector in West Nusa Tenggara Province using the Input-Output approach. The data used is a table of Input-Outputs of NTB Province in 2016 with a classification of 17 sectors. The analysis methods used include structural analysis (intermediate output, intermediate input, final demand, and primary input), output multiplier analysis, and backward linkage and forward linkage analysis. The results of the study show that the agricultural sector has an important role as a regional economy, especially as an input provider for other sectors. The value of the agricultural sector's output multiplier shows a chain impact on other sectors, although it is still moderate. In addition, the forward linkage is greater than the backward linkage, which indicates that the agricultural sector plays a more role as an output supplier than as an input user between sectors.
