Bibliometric analysis of publications in ArchivosArgentinos de Pediatría (2021-2025)

A bibliometric study was conducted on the publications of Archivos Argentinos de Pediatría between 2021 and 2025 to describe its editorial output, the types of articles, the institutional composition of authorship and collaboration, the thematic distribution, and the impact of the publications as measured by citations.A total of 717 articles were included.Clinical case reports predominated, followed by original articles, which accounted for 25% of the publications.The original studies were primarily descriptive observational studies, with a low proportion of international funding and collaboration.The research output was concentrated mainly in the fields of infectious diseases, general pediatrics, and medical education.Citation analysis revealed generally modest levels.These results help characterize the journal's recent profile.
