This revision of the "Consensus on the Care of Children with Tracheostomies," published in 2016, aims to update knowledge on various aspects related to the care of these children, based on scientific advances developed and published in recent years. New topics arising from scientific experience and literature will be addressed, as well as those requiring modification. The content of the previous Consensus serves as a fundamental basis for general considerations.
