Decline in injection well performance is commonly caused by formation damage that increases skin factor and reduces efficiency. This study evaluated SHM-013 before and after matrix acidizing based on skin factor, Injectivity Index (II), Scale Index (SI), and IPR-VLP analysis. Before treatment, the well showed high skin (4,96 Hall Plot; 4,28 Darcy) and low II (0,804 bpd/psi).After stimulation, skin decreased (-2,95 Hall Plot; 0,87 Darcy) and II rose to 2,323 bpd/psi.SI value of 3,091 indicated CaCO₃ scaling risk, addressed using 1.026,78 gal of 15% HCl dissolving 10,99 cuft carbonate.IPR-VLP results showed optimum injection improved from 432 to 594 BWPD under safe pressure. The integration of Hall Plot, scale analysis, and matrix acidizing proved effective in optimizing injection performance and can guide similar field applications.
