S1 Simulation WorkflowThis section complements the workflow described in the main manuscript by providing additional details on the pre-processing, post-processing, and graphical-interface utilities available in PorousLab.A simulation is defined through two main objects: the model object, mdl, and the analysis object, anl.The model object stores the finite-element mesh, material data, boundary and initial conditions, and physics-specific state variables. The analysis object controls the solution procedure, including the type of analysis, nonlinear scheme, time-stepping parameters, and convergence tolerances. This separation is used consistently across the different physics types implemented in the framework.
