Artificial intelligence transforms the various spheres of society and the legal field is no exception. The study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the level of AI implementation in the legal systems of Spain, Brazil, France, Argentina, Colombia, Greece and Slovenia. For this purpose, the methodology was used under the positivist paradigm: quantitative approach, descriptive and comparative character, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. Descriptive statistics, comparative matrix and Euclidean distance matrix, hierarchical cluster analysis (Ward's method), Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) were used. The main results showed that the implementation of artificial intelligence in legal aid presents a heterogeneous development among the countries analyzed. Spain, Brazil and France recorded the highest levels of adoption, while Argentina, Colombia, Greece and Slovenia showed intermediate and initial levels. The most developed applications corresponded to document management, case classification and administrative automation, while legal research and access to justice reflected a lower degree of implementation. The cluster analysis identified three groups of countries with similar characteristics and multidimensional scaling confirmed an adequate representation of similarity patterns (Stress = 0.0857; explained variation = 94.5%), demonstrating that AI adoption depends on the level of technological maturity and digital transformation strategies of each justice system.
