(MRSA) after strabismus surgery is reported in a 7-year-old girl. The child presented with progressive pain and discharge, which was non-responsive to initial antibiotics. Surgical exploration and culture confirmed MRSA. Targeted vancomycin and linezolid led to complete resolution of the signs and symptoms. This case underscores importance of early postoperative follow-up and high clinical suspicion, coupled with prompt collaboration with microbiologists, particularly when managing unusual or drug-resistant postoperative infections.
