We aimed to establish the state of the science for robots supporting older adults with cognitive impairment by exploring the literature available on robots for older adults and identifying key concepts and trends over 21 years (2004-2025). We included 109 articles following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines.
