Abstract The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite periodic-variable catalog of X. Gao et al. classified TIC 235005571 as a rotational variable (ROT) with a 2.687672 day period, while J. H. M. M. Schmitt et al. reported a 2.66303 ± 0.22929 day period. I show that Sectors 28, 68, 103, and 104 contain alternating unequal eclipses across a 2139 day timing baseline. A fit to 28 primary minima gives P = 2.65044283 ± 0.00000212 days and primary epoch 2460425.83484 ± 0.00067 in barycentric dynamical time. The primary and secondary depths are 2645 ± 124 and 1811 ± 133 parts per million, respectively. Raw aperture photometry independently recovers both eclipses. The evidence supports reclassification from ROT to an Algol-type (EA) eclipsing binary and supplies a precise ephemeris.
