Hemodynamic parameters like Wall Shear Stress (WSS) and pressure are crucial to predict aneurysm behavior, including growth, stability, and rupture risk. And thus, they can assist the treatment decision. Our objective in this study is to observe variations in such parameters on two different aneurysm models having different sac sizes. This study will investigate End Systolic Velocity (ESV) and End Diastolic Velocity (EDV), and how they affect the hemodynamic parameters. It is expected that these two extreme conditions will provide a good overview of the aneurysm hemodynamics. In this work, the Time-Averaged (TA) inlet flow rate has also been introduced as a baseline reference to compare with the two extremes. ESV gives greater WSS and wall pressure than EDV on both models. This will impose more growth in the sac site in the small sac model. Differences in average WSS were observed between the two aneurysm geometries. The inclusion of TA allows quantification of the relative variations at diastolic and systolic conditions, demonstrating that ESV greatly amplifies WSS compared to TA, whereas EDV remains considerably lower.
