The morphology and distribution of Chamaesphecia (Chamaesphecia) astatiformis (Herrich-Schäffer, 1864) on the Crimean Peninsula are described and illustrated. Some specimens were collected randomly, usually resting on flowers, but some males were collected using artificial sex attractants. This species is found in two territorial administrative units of the Crimean Peninsula, namely the Republic of Crimea and Federal City of Sevastopol’. The authors found Chamaesphecia (Chamaesphecia) astatiformis in 34 localities, including those noted in literature and Internet resources. This species is recorded for the Chernomorkoye, Saki, Belogorsk and Lenino Districts and in Alushta, Feodosiya and Kerch’ of the Republic of Crimea for the first time.
