The increasing complexity of the contemporary security environment, the expansion of operational domains, and the transformation of information superiority into a decisive factor have brought multidomain operations to the forefront as one of the principal forms of modern military activity. Such operations require a high level of synchronization of parallel and interrelated actions across land, air, maritime, space, and cyber domains, thereby limiting the effectiveness of traditional human-centered command and decision-making mechanisms. This article examines the role of artificial intelligence in multidomain operations from a theoretical and conceptual perspective rather than a purely technological one. The study evaluates the contribution of artificial intelligence to the establishment of information superiority, the acceleration of decision-making processes, and the transformation of command and control systems within the framework of contemporary military theory. Within the scope of the research, the impact of artificial intelligence on achieving “decision advantage” (the attainment of operational initiative through rapid information processing, in-depth situational analysis, and the selection of an optimal course of action faster than the adversary under multidomain operational conditions) is substantiated, and its transformative influence on operational thinking is demonstrated. The article concludes that artificial intelligence in multidomain operations is not merely a supporting technology, but a strategically significant conceptual factor that alters the logic of operational planning and execution.
